Paula,
What a beautiful story. Our God is an awesome God, and I love it when we get a clear and definitive answer to our prayers, big and small. Many years ago our son Scott was attending ISU and living at home. The last day of the semester his car would not start and he hitched a ride home. Tom and I went to get the car during break and he was planning to push it onto the trailer we took over there. After about 45 minutes of frustration and failure, I started praying, asking God to bring Tom help, and make him volunteer to help as Tom will never ask for help. Less than 5 minutes later a young man came by and offered to help Tom. I was so thankful, especially since that was the only other person we saw the whoLe time we were there. I am so thankful ha answered your prayer so quickly. Keep trusting, as you know He is in charge of us all.
Love you, Paula. ❤️💖
What an inspiring message of hope. Sometimes it seems, as you noted, that answer to prayer is "not right now" but in God's time. How good to have an answer to a prayer that was in unison with how you felt in your heart and soul.
Paula and family, I am so very happy to hear of Paula's stable condition and peaceful heart. May God bless and strengthen each and every one of you as you continue to care for Paula and for each other. Once again, she blesses the rest of us with her calm words, sharing in friendship, and hope.
A large part of any treatment and outcomes is your comfort and trust in those taking care of you ! Keep safe in quarantine- we knitters/ crafters have been training for this our whole lives!
So glad to hear such hopeful news from you and especially that God gave you a specific answer to your prayer and hopes! Romans 5:3-5 was one Tom and I read in our devotions this week and we thought how appropriate for the whole world really with all that we are going through right now with the Coronavirus. God's hope poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit! What more can we ask for! Never lose hope with God by your side! And He is truly by your side, Paula, and hearing your prayers! God bless you and Bob and we continue to pray for you daily! Sending hugs and love too!
