Dear friends,
It is with sadness, but also joy, that I share the news of my Mother's peaceful passing just before midnight last night in Albuquerque. I'm sure she is having a reunion of dear friends and loved ones beyond even our wildest imagination.
I'm terribly sorry if you had to receive this news via Facebook or through the grapevine. It's been a busy day of notifying relatives and coordinating the logistics of Mom's arrangements with my sisters, the funeral home, and the church. Word travels fast and I apologize that I did not post something in a more timely manner.
Arrangements are pending at Wendt Bros Funeral Home in Moline. Visitation will be Friday 3/23 (time to be determined...prob 4-7 pm) and the funeral will be on Saturday 3/24 at St. Paul Lutheran in Davenport. (Time also to be determined...probably 11:30 or noon.)
Thank you for all your love and prayers as we navigate through these next several days. My Mom was well loved and will be missed by so many. I am comforted knowing that she is now in the arms of Jesus.
