We were able to bring Patty home yesterday! Her recovery is going as planned! She wishes to thank everyone for their love, support, and prayers. Please keep those prayers coming!!

I just got off the phone with Patty. She sounds great! Still has some tubes but hope they’ll be coming out tomorrow.
Can eat again without nausea.
Says the anti rejection drugs aren’t bothering her. PT will begin tomorrow.
She feels so blessed, thankful, and knows what a miracle this situation has been for her.
Says to tell everyone she loves them and appreciates all the prayers that went up on her behalf.
Long recovery still ahead but this warrior is ready to have her life back.

I continue to be amazed at my little sister’s fighting spirit! Her health had declined so drastically before her transplant. And, now she’s showing us all how to be a survivor!
I love her so much. Wish we could see her, hug her, and cheer for her while she fights! However, this craziness going on prevents her family from being with her.
