Everything at Cardinal Hill seems to be going well.  Mom is working with therapists about three hours a day most days and is making good progress. She has regained enough strength and balance to stand up from a seated position and was able to walk several steps unassisted yesterday!  Mobility in her left hand is also improving at a little slower pace.  We are amazed and encouraged by that speedy progress and the team at Cardinal Hill seems to be pleased as well. The current plan is for Mom to stay another 10 days and be discharged on the 17th.

Thank you so much for all the rides home folx have provided already!  We are still looking for rides on the following days:

• Monday, August 9;
• Saturday, August 14;
• Sunday, August 15;
• Monday, August 16; and
• Tuesday, August 17.

This experience has made us even more aware that it takes a whole community to care for people in times of need.  We feel really fortunate that are a part of that community for Mom and Dad, and appreciate for all the caring support we have received!
