Patricia’s Story

Site created on October 31, 2019

Patricia was diagnosed with end-stage cancer two weeks ago  - and what was initially forecasted to be months quickly turned into weeks, and now just days. She is currently resting comfortably at Walker-Methodist on 37th & Bryant in Minneapolis.

Amy, Darren and Molly ask that you keep Pat and the Roark family in your prayers during this time of reflection. They appreciate everyone's love and support during this devastating time.

Funeral Announcement - Pat Diebel Roark & Charles Roark

It's with an even more broken heart that I share that our Mom passed away last Saturday morning, surrounded by her children, after what turned out to be a mercifully brief struggle with cancer.

As many of you know, we also lost our Dad last year. My parents would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary a few weeks ago, and his loss was a grief almost too difficult for our Mom to bear.

We have the privilege to honor them both at a joint memorial service next week, and hope all those who loved and cared about them can join us.

Visitation Monday, Nov. 25 from 4-8pm

Prayer Service Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 12:30 at O’Halloran Murphy, followed by internment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
