Newest Update

Journal entry by Sue Pierson

Here's a Christmas miracle update:     Pat is doing really well.    He is back in therapy in Round Rock most days each week.  He also has extra  speech and music therapy at Austin Speech Labs.    He is really stable and never needed  a cane.   The speech has been a setback, but we are really good communicating in different ways.   He can write words and I can figure out what he wants to say.    It's become a game and we laugh a lot.  He understands everything people tell him and manages text really well.  He can pay bills on our chase account also.   He can sign his name now so i don't have to forge his signature.   During the break he started  working out again with Chris Tejeda #chrisgetsufit.  He does so well I am going to have him in RR MWF,   ASL and Chris Tues. Thus.  He is ready to start driving in Jan too which will be huge for him-and me too.  On the negative side, his arm is still a useless limb.

So far we have managed to stay covid free this year.   It's only a matter of time.  My advice for everyone is to organize passwords and store in one place in case of emergency.   Thanks for a ll the prayers and well wishes.  Hope you had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.    And ROLL TIDE  ROLL!!!
