Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. and encouragement.

Pat has metastatic,non treatable spindle cell carcinoma. She is now being helped by hospice. She also has mid level Alzheimer’s and has almost no immediate memory. Sometimes a blessing because doesn’t remember the diagnosis or all the Covid issues. She used to live in an assisted living center,Pine Hill, part of Kimbal farms.  She started needing more care than they could provide so she was transferred to their skilled nursing center.  This is most likely where she will spend her remaining days.

Pat died peacefully , pain free, Monday 5/25 at a little after 4PM. She was not responsive the last 5 days but her 3 children were allowed to visit and say good byes. I am glad she did not suffer but all the isolation because of the COVID virus was very difficult for us all. I can’t imagine how it was for her. May you remember her smile and good times
