Rev. Patricia I. Johnson, LCSW
Rev. Patricia (Pat) Johnson was born in Cliffton Springs, NY on June 2, 1947, and was welcomed into heaven on September 9, 2021, at the age of 74. She leaves behind two beloved children Timothy Johnson (son) and Deann Johnson (daughter), a daughter-in-law, Vanessa Johnson, and five grandchildren, Emily, Naomi, Holly, Keira, and Travis. Her family will remember her always as a loving, supportive, and generous mother and grandmother.
As an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Pat was committed to teaching and leading people to live a life of joy, blessings, and peace. Pat faithfully served as the Pastor of churches in New York and in Colorado where she dedicated her ministry to helping others live as disciples of Christ. As a social worker and therapist, Pat worked tirelessly alongside people, families, and communities to help them heal and grow from their often traumatic experiences.
After retirement, Pat became certified as an Interim Pastor for the Mountain Sky Area Conference, helping churches during difficult times of transition and training other clergy persons to serve as interim pastors. Before and after retirement, Pat remained a valued therapist to many clients in her private practice and a respected clergyperson in the United Methodist Denomination.
Pat will be remembered for her dry sense of humor and her generous spirit. She treated everyone she met with respect and compassion. She was an avid adventurer and loved to try new things whether it was food, music, or travel. In this life and in the next, Pat is sure to continue to stir up trouble and will forever be reminding us of God's unconditional love.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at The Land in Aurora, Colorado at 4 pm this Sunday, September 19th. Those planning to attend in person are asked to RSVP at the link below. A video recording will also be shared for those unable to participate in person. Please note: There will also be a service at the United Methodist Church in Manchester, New York on September 26th with more details to come soon.

Thank you, Stephanie, that would be wonderful for those of us in other states and unable to attend our dear sweet and sassy Pat's service.

Also, if you are unable to be physically present at the service in Colorado, we will be recording it and posting it on YouTube. I will share the link on the Caring Bridge so that everyone has access to it.
