Pat, you are an inspiration to us all, as is Karen. Cancer affects all of us, whether we are fighting it for ourselves or our loved ones, and your words provide hope. We send our love and prayers for your body to continue to get strong and cancer free.

I SO wish that I could attend. I'll plan to have a little something in my office on campus that day to join the celebration from afar.
Still sending prayers and best wishes. ~Cassandra

Thanks for the update Pat. As difficult as it is going through various treatments, I know that this time of "doing nothing" is equally as hard. Waiting to get that next scan to find out if cells have been eradicated is so scary as well. I continue to pray for you daily as I know your numerous prayer warriors are. If we were in CO, it would be lovely to visit with you and share in your brunch, what a cute idea!! Meanwhile, prayers continue and wishing you wonderful news post scan. As always, love, hugs and prayers Julie

Bear, you are truly blessed to have Saint Karen and your incredible family in your corner. I know I probably speak for many in saying that your journal update allowed us to stop holding our collective breath followed soon thereafter by a broad smile. Your belief, strength and humility inspires us all
