Dress

It will be warm (and possibly raining!) on Saturday. Please dress comfortably! We’re suggesting “nice casual” — for example, khakis and a golf shirt for the guys is totally fine. No jackets or ties required. The clubhouse is small and we’ll likely spill out around the pool area (which is open, by the way — you’re also welcome to swim :) ).

The address of Beacon Hill Village is 231 Green Harbor Road, Old Hickory, TN 37138. Here is a Google Map link to the address. If you are staying near the airport, it will take about 15 minutes to drive over.

 

Lodging

Several family members are staying at the Embassy Suites at the Nashville Airport.

 

Parking

Beacon Hill Village is a gated community, and parking is limited. We are working with community leaders on leaving the gate open during the celebration to take advantage of the (very few) guest parking spaces to the right of the clubhouse. There is a “walking gate” to the left of the driving gate as well that we’ll ensure is open. Other parking opportunities are:

 

• There are additional parking places toward the back of the complex near the tennis courts, and we are working to enlist a few neighbors to shuttle people back to the clubhouse via their golf carts.
  
• The majority of guests will need to park OUTSIDE the gate on the opposite side of the street (to the right if Beacon Hill is on the left). There is no parking on the same side of the condo complex.
  
• Jimmy and Kelley live very close to Beacon Hill, and we are happy to coordinate people parking at their houses and will ensure you get over to the celebration. Those people will need to be ready to come over about 10:30 at the latest. Please call me ASAP at 423-994-2840 if you’d like to pursue that option.
  
• Otherwise, we encourage carpooling!
