Journal entry by Teresa Hu —
Hello everyone-since Pat is recovering so well this will be the last post!
She had her post op visit with Internal Medicine yesterday and things look great. The lab work was normal and her blood pressure was 124/84 (very good!)
The incisions are healing well and she is just taking Tylenol to help with some discomfort in the sternum. Lungs are clear.
Pat has been walking for longer increments each day-up to 15 minutes which helps to keep her strength and prevent blood clots/pneumonia. She will start cardiac rehabilitation next week.
As you can see from the photo, Ken has put up a few decorations and they will be ready to have a relaxing Christmas with family and cheer on the Hawks tonight for the Big Ten championship!
Once again, thank you all for your positivity and prayers during this process.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow! 🙌🏻✝️
