Newest Update

Journal entry by Paul Sausser

Hi Friends—A quick update. I am done with radiation. I do have some of the side effects that come with the treatment, but no headaches. The doc said the effects may suddenly appear or last over a month, and the fatigue likely longer. But I continue to have a regular schedule. Giving thanks to God for daily strength.

The medical team will know they were effective when they take the next MRI in 3 months. A PET scan will accompany that. These next scans will happen at the end of April. As I understand it, the tumor is still alive, but it is dying, not growing. I have never said I am cancer free, and since May, can’t say cancer clear. But it is getting treated.

It was a flurry of activity for 3 weeks, and now quiet. So we continue to pray that if there are other free radicals in my body, that God keeps them at bay or destroy them. We pray for no more recurrence. Thank you for your kind and encouraging notes, along with your prayers.
