March 2nd Pastor Berg was diagnosed with advanced adenosarcoma of the stomach.  The ongologist says that he may have 3 to 8 months.  At this point it seems like he may have 3 months at the most.  April 20th we started hospice.  The hospice staff has been a great help to us.  Pain and nausea control are much better under their care and provided medication.  We truly appreciate the prayers of God's people.  The support, prayers, cards, food and visits have been a wonderful encouragement to us as we go through this uncertain time.

The goodness and kindness of our loving God has been evident.  Pastor Berg is experiencing great peace.  He often says, "I go with the flow because God is in control and that is better than I deserve."

If you want to make a personal visit please call ahead so we don't end up with too many visitors at the same time.  Victor really appreciates the visits but he gets very tired so please remember to keep visits short.  

We also want to thank our friends and family for coming to sit with Victor to give Jonett some time to either take a nap or do some grocery shopping.
