Pam
I know firsthand about what fear is like. I am a 20 year breast cancer survivor and every time I visit the doctor I suffer from anxiety because I think I will get bad news. After my appointment is over I celebrate another clean slate for another year. It’s hard to go through but I try to focus on the positive things in my life and there are many. God bless you Pam. Sending prayers and love. ❤️
This is such a beautiful and honest entry. Thank you for sharing. Your prayer for acceptance stands out to me. I think there is so much strength in acceptance. The willingness to hold space within yourself for all the pieces...the fear, the gratitude, the lust for life and love. We can't just turn off the fear but we can welcome it in with kindness and curiosity and let it help propel us towards the things we want and cherish.
I love you!
Pam, we are all still here for you and praying for you. You are loved so much sister. Like you mentioned in your prayer “ God has not forsaken you “. Continue to trust God fully. Remember the kind of peace that you felt when you are going through your tough time, that no matter what happens you are at peace with it. We will pray for that peace again . Praying that God will give you strength to get through this unforeseen part of your recovery. FEAR is a LIAR!!
“God’s perfect love cast out fear”. 1 John 4:18. God will continue to heal you and get you through these hard times. Now that you are in remission and cancer free, celebrate your life every day.
You are a fighter and a warrior. We are always praying for you and please don’t hesitate to asks anything that we can do to help you get through these.
You, God , Family and your sisters will be here. We love you Pam.
Pam - I wish you never had to experience this, but you have such a strong and amazing spirit that I know, along with your faith, you will get through this. Also, so many people love you and are praying for you and we have become a tribe to support you through this. You may be weary, but your tribe will carry you. Love you!❤️
Pam.... from my past experiences with cancer... the thought will almost always remain in the back of your mind, it seems every "odd" situation in your body, will bring this thought pattern to the forefront again. Remember you have a 'FORCE' with GOD that can handle all of your issues. As you move forward and this past year is in your rear view mirror ... the dreaded "thought" will not occur as often, but it'll still occur. My last issue was 21 years ago... and I still "have the thought" whenever any "odd" body issue occurs. You just need to keep praying and thank GOD for the good days he's given you to enjoy life, enjoy your family........ stay strong !!!!
