Newest Update

Journal entry by Pammie Lyn Pettine

Three years after being diagnosed with NASH here I am having been denied a liver transplant.  Two comas, six internal bleeds from varicies, pain like I had no clue I could tolerate.  Loss of the ability to work and stuck living on a quarter of what used to be my income.  Trying to find a job that I can do without lifting more than ten lbs, loss of short term memory, and bouts of hepatic encephalopathy.  I was recently diagnosed with a AAA.  No longer does normal apply to this life.  Jessie has become a genius when it comes to my health.  Mimi is moving five states to be here with us in two days.  More updates to come.
