Lisa’s Story

Site created on May 22, 2019

Well, in 2016 I was diagnosed with Peripheral Neuropathy. In other words, nerve damage in certain parts of your body and how they can attack the nerves of different organs. There is no cure, but some treatment. This disease has affected both legs to where I now have a difficult time walking. It is extremely painful, but try to deal with it the best I can. Working with my neurologist to see what can be done next. I'm at the point of having to use a wheelchair to take me to my appointments and to get out and try to enjoy things in life, like I used to. I thank all my family that reside in other places for their assistance, support and most of all; prayers.
So, for now, this is my story!!
