Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it for friends and family, all those who knew and loved P.D., to share stories and memories of him as well as provide links to the family’s Meal Train and provide a link for Memorial Donations.
As many of you know P.D. was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis over three years ago. It made it difficult to breathe, hard to catch his breath and increased that ever present cough of his.  He found out a year ago he had substantial blockage in his heart and needed triple bypass surgery but due to his lung disease he was unable to undergo the procedure he truly needed and had stints done instead.  The procedure needed to be updated with a new stint and was done so a couple of weeks ago. He was on one of his morning walks at the park near the house and had a heart attack Saturday morning.  He was taken by ambulance to the local hospital and while the doctors did all they could he passed away.  We all thought we had more time together but know by his faith he is with Jesus now. 
 Unfortunately both he and Diane have suffered significant health issues the past few years which carries a heavy financial burden. P.D. ‘s  ultimate  goal was to always make sure he protected Diane and took care of her. For that reason out of love for them both we have created a memorial fund to assist her.  If anyone feels compelled to donate we deeply appreciate you blessing her.  Dad devoted his life to the service of others. He was a man of kindness and integrity. He was a devoted and loving husband always taking such care of Diane. He was a wonderful father and an exceptional Grandad. He is loved by so many as he touched the hearts of all who knew him. He will be tremendously missed. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
