As the season celebrating Light surrounds us all, we have so much to be grateful for! Owen has been slowly and steadily improving over the course of this past week, and is now at the point where his lung volume, kidneys, blood pressure have all improved, and he can now sit in a chair for about 3 hours and can ride the physical therapy bike for 15 minutes, 5 of them using his own steam! On the horizon is being able to talk and getting off the ventilator! Thank you for the infinite ways throughout this journey that you are blessing us.  It will take us the rest of our lives to see all the ways these blessings - your love, prayers, support, gifts, visits, meals, cards, food, care of our pets, help with health insurance, financial donations, and just plain old listening - spread out into the world.
