Jay - I only saw your momma once, fleetingly, when she was beaming with pride at your high school graduation. I called out to her “we love Jay!” Maggie and Katie both shared time with you and your mom and loved the time together (and the delicious food!). Today is a day your life has changed. We are here for you today and whenever you need us. I miss our “Smith family” fun and know we will have a reunion and celebrate your momma. Sending lots of hugs and love and light.
Thinking of her spirit being totally free now is a peaceful yet truly sad feeling. Her life touched so many over the years. Much love and hugs to you, Jay, and all her family.
Everybody at The Goddess and Grocer, where Jill was our Executive Chef of catering, is heartbroken. We will miss the scent from the diffuser in her office, her hot pink chef's jacket hanging from a hook, her positive energy, her kindness and her wisdom. We will miss her as a colleague and a friend. Rest in peace Jilly D. And thank you Kramer for being there for Jill and Jay. We will celebrate Jill's life when the appropriate time comes, but in the meantime, always be kind.
