Dear Oliver! Oh my! I’m still digesting this news as I heard during the service Sunday and hadn’t read your post. I’m sending you positive vibes and signals for the tumors to miraculously shrink!!🥰. Not sure how you feel about prayer but I could put you on many lists if you wish. I’m a firm believer in the power of prayer and of course handling this the way you see also has it’s power. I hear power between your words here. I would love to take a walk with you (6 feet apart!). Such a challenging time beyond anyone’s imagination. I send my love and hope your way. My love to Family too.

Dear Oliver. Being separated by the wide Atlantic, I've been able to spend very little time with you - just that one busy weekend at our family gathering in the UK. But nevertheless, I do feel that I know something of you: your intellect, approachability, caring attitude, aura of calmness and composure, quiet efficiency, and positive way of thought. For all these and more, I value you and our kinship and friendship. You're a great guy, who helps to make the world a better place, and I assure you it doesn't go unnoticed. So thank you for being you: I'm sure many, many people appreciate you being in their lives. From this distance I can only send you empathy and caring wishes, but they're very real and heartfelt. Carole and I are often with you in our thoughts. And if there's ever any more that we can do for you, we'll happily do it: just say the word. So thank you for being my cousin, and I want you to know I'm proud to be yours. Sending you our love, appreciation, biggest of hugs and warmest of wishes - Richard

We had hoped that you would have more trouble-free time, but we agree whole-heartedly that quality of life is most important. Sadness fills me as I write this note and yet we will always cherish the happy memories of you too - from when you were a boy to one special Thanksgiving in Ohio and right up to when last we saw you. As spring evolves we are confident that you will do what you can to live your own special and inspiring life. We wish you comfort and peace.
