Thinking of you, and so very glad you’re on the other side of surgery. I hope the pain is manageable and your healing and recovery rapid. (A blue heron just flew over my head, which I am convinced is foretelling good health for Oliver!)

Oliver, Amelia and family, please know that I am holding you in my thoughts for successful surgery and recovery! Sounds like your grand support system, the fine medical professionals and the love coming from all directions will be most positive. Remembering you in prayer and meditation.

You are reading this and that's a wonderful thing! You have a some challenging days ahead, but this too shall pass. Praying for strength and grace to see you through all that is in front of you with assurance that there is life after a Whipple!
