Oliver - I'm mentally pulling for you in every way I can. I'm also glad that you are searching out and finding for yourself the very best care. I hope you have a restful and enjoyable birthday next week. If you want recommendations for good Mexican food in Milwaukee, I can get you a few. (My mom grew up nearby in Racine, and my cousin lives there still.)
Oliver - I've been reading along periodically, and I'm in so much awe of your strength and resilience through this journey. Know that you and your family are in my thoughts down here in FL, and I am wishing you well!
I echo Nancy Dolge's message below. Please let the Care Team if there is anything we can do for you while you are away or after you come back. And, yes, do know that many of us hold you dear!! And Amelia and the kids, too!
Good update, Oliver. I had no idea your healing had taken such a dramatic turn. I am grateful for the good medical care you are receiving and the other resources you mentioned as well. Sending love to you and your family.
Please keep the Care Team and me in mind if Amelia needs anything while you are away with all this. I might be able to spend a few hours for yard work. You have an amazing attitude in a situation that would challenge even the toughest of us. I'm glad you have found the best of the best doctors, etc. for your unique version of this diagnosis. Know that many of us hold you dear. XXOO Nancy Dolge
Thanks for keeping all of us posted - you are often in our thoughts. Sounds like an excellent pathway ahead for you. And, a great birthday gift, indeed! Know that so many people are keeping you in their hearts and prayers right now, Oliver.
Your courage and positivity never leaves me . I admire you for the way you deal with all the hardship and pain you are subjected by this unfortunate illness. Through it all you are comforting us,the people who deeply care for you. I hear and feel the hope and total healing at the end of this difficult journey. I am so glad you are in good hands with that and your positive attitude you will be the winner, not the darn cancer.
I look so forward to the time to happily celebrate your complete recovery.
