Hi Oliver, Cory and I are just back from a month in Portugal, mostly hiking and some touring. I tried to say "Howdy" from over there, but my phone as opposed to my computer needed a password I did not have with me. There was so much sun in that country; I wish I could have brought some back. Thanks for sharing your "journey" with us all. Back at you with all our good hopes and wishes.

While it is hard to beat Indiana Jones in the diversion department, I recommend The Good Place, on Netflix. As usual, I was late to the party on this one, but I'm glad I finally caught up. Funny, well active, inventive. Given your super-long (and very impressive) workout sessions, you will blast through the 26 episodes in no time.

Thanks for keeping us all up to date. We are with you!

Hi Oliver, I'm so sorry to hear about your health - wow what a journey you have been on! It is really encouraging to read all about your ups and downs and how it affects you and all those around you. You show so much strength and good humour and share your thoughts and feelings so openly. It is sounding like your treatments are working well which is excellent news.
Know that I am thinking of you and send you my very best wishes all the way from Australia and will continue to follow your updates,
Jan ( I met you at the Hinxman gathering 2017 in the UK) in case you are not sure who I am : )

The end of the chemo tunnel is so close!! And your workout routine puts many who are not fighting your battle to shame. Way to get it done! ... I was thinking this weekend about when we met in 5th grade and you would could dribble a soccer ball - was it 5 minutes - 10 minutes - that you could keep it in the air?
I'm glad you have so many to visit and your time with your Dad and others.
Cheers and healing thoughts coming up from Georgia - sun too if I can manage, though it's pouring buckets at the moment. Although, if you look at my 'wall' on Facebook, I picked a really lovely, sunny bouquet of daffodils yesterday. Pretend they are in your house - they smell sweet.
Julie
PS: On my 10KTuesday run this morning, going up a steep hill, I thought of you and your workout. Where I might have taken a breather walk, you inspired me to keep going.

Dear Oliver:

Juri and I are so glad to hear that things are going so well, particularly with regard to your exercise regimen. I regret that we have not had more time to talk after church services, but you do seem to be very busy! We wish you all the best, and are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Oliver, I knew it was a good sign when I saw you working out on the elliptical at the Y about two weeks ago. I thought, "wow"! I imagine that your body can fight better when you are able to exercise and get some endorphins going. I wish you continued good workouts. maybe I'll run into you again one of these days. We all continue to send you good vibes.

Oliver, I so appreciate your updates. I am thankful for all the support and on-going camaraderie you are receiving. And I am inspired by your workout regimen! Your workouts are longer than mine -- so thanks for motivating me to up my own exercise schedule. I wish you continued perseverance, strength and hope as you continue to traverse this challenging ordeal.
