Dearest Oliver,

I am reading your reflections on this Unfair journey you are going through wishing that it will bring excellent health you deserve so you will enjoy many happy years with your loving family and friends. I also hope that I can help in any way needed. I know you have many caring friends, and your lovely mother is standing by, please consider me as another mother who cares and wishes the best for you and family.

I am still hoping that you will be joining the next play day at the Costello's feeling well and strong.

Please hurry up and get well soon, give my greetings to your mother, you are very fortunate to have such a grand, loving family.

Affectionately,
dilmeran akgoze dunham.

Oliver, I don't know if this is helpful or not, but Ithaca opened a CBD store on Seneca St. right near the intersection with Aurora St. See the fb page: https://www.facebook.com/ithacacbdstore/

Oliver--I am glad that you are continuing to describe your days even though I suspect you are shielding us from many of the excruciating details. Suffering in silence is definitely overrated. Thank goodness the state of New York has finally come through for you! Marijuana has been a "miracle" for years for helping with nausea. May it work swimmingly for you, too. You are always in our thoughts.

True strength is knowing when to retreat, to allow yourself to be soft and sad for a while before you gather yourself up again... I am so sorry to hear you have been going through some rough times, Oliver. And am grateful that still, rays of your optimism and humor still shine through, despite it all. Warm thoughts to you and your family!

Wow, just wow. What a couple of weeks you have had. I am thankful for your good scan news. I hope the medical marijuana brings you some relief from the nausea. And I am glad you have figured out a way to protect yourself in the event of future blackouts. Take good care of that noggin! Wishing you continued endurance for this arduous journey as well as the ability to recognize the bright spots. Sending you much love and strength. You are a warrior!

Thinking of you with love and strength for your next infusion this Monday, Oliver. Hoping that even keel can stick around for bit. This is a path with twists and turns for sure. You are doing it!

Oliver,
You are an unstoppable force of positive energy, despite everything being thrown at you - and a gifted writer, to boot. Glad to hear you’ve got potentially “only” another 4-6 weeks of the infusions and daunting after-effects. Count me in to help, or drive, or whatever you need.
