We are next door, waiting to help in any way we can — from rides to chemo to shoveling snow later — whatever you need. And you know I walked down this path with pancreatic cancer two and a half years ago and was treated at MSK. So, we’re here to share war stories if you and/or Amelia wants to talk. Just ask. We’re 50 yards away and would like to help out if you need us.
What a great time to have a week full of semi-house guests! We will be there if you and Meels need us and will do our own thing if we are in the way. Just let us know what you think is best. Yes, this IS all about you. Hang in there. Bumpy times ahead. But I have seen you overcome those before.
Oliver and Amelia,
As we told you when you stopped by, give us a little notice and the kids can stop by for meals if you both are tied up. We are next door and know the routine since one of us traveled this same road. This is beatable.

Garbo is indeed a great Oncologist. the infusaport makes receiving the chemotherapy much easier . it is relatively innocuous looking and a simple implant. mounted more up toward your collarbone. IIRC, it can be used for receiving other injections as well, should the medical industry mistake you for their pincushion.
Oliver, thanks for keeping us updated.
Please let us know if you begin experiencing any symptoms from the chemotherapy. Acupuncture often helps with these, and I happen to know an excellent acupuncturist!
Take care.
Let me know if these articles are a problem to view. If they didn't go through, I'll make copies and drop them off at the house.
I couldn't copy the links but was able to in Dropbox. Not sure if it worked.
