This post is so real and so mature. You are learning that life is not either good or bad, happy or sad, but both- and. As a longtime member of a family rife with cancer, your comments about layers of experience are spot on and fairness isn’t even in the equation. You two are such good, strong parents to your little ones, whatever comes along. So glad you are taking time to feel and express the whole spectrum of emotions- so healthy for you and your whole family. Nora’s healing is in my prayers always, as is strength for the rest of you on the journey with her.
Dear Caroline, My heart was breaking as I read your journal entries. I am so sorry I did not know about this before now. What a gorgeous little girl, of course! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Nora's progress sounds wonderful.
Rooting for Nora! What a strong girl! Your story touches my heart beyond words; I can’t imagine what you and your family are going through. Sounds like Nora is doing amazing and making strides every day- keep fighting that fight! Xoxo
You are a total rock star family, and your heartfelt entry Caroline was so beautiful. We continually keep Nora in our prayers and hearts. You all too!!! Please keep your strength and know you can find it always in your giant cheering section which we are part of! Love and hugs to all of you, Cheryl and David
Caroline, you and your family are so inspiring and graceful in your powerful fight against this awful disease. We continue to be in awe of your little warrior, Nora Jean. We will continue to pray for your family and will send special positive thoughts on Thursday. xoxo
Thank you for sharing your heart. Jan and I pray each day for Nora. Each day. Nora’s story reaches many. God wastes nothing. He loves Nora and He loves you.
Nora and your family are in our hearts and prayers always. Not only is she a brave little girl but she also has a very strong mother. I hope Her resilience can continue....along with yours. Many prayers and love to you all and for your support system.
(I am John Ohaver’s mother-in-law...I believe he is a distant cousin of yours. )
