Journal entry by Nita Acton

PET scan was great! No other cancer was found! Praise Jesus! I also had a praise when I went to the asthma doctor. I was able to get rid of 1 inhaler and change to a lesser medicine for my maintenance inhaler. Then today we had the echo done. All seemed good there too!

Emotionally, we (the family) are all hanging in there. I got all my hair cut off today and I did have to take a deep breath for a bit so I wouldn’t cry, but I did it! I didn’t cry!

Tomorrow is hepatitis, flu and probably pneumonia shots. I don’t like shots but we can’t take the risk of me getting sick while I do my chemo.

On Monday (October 14) at 9am, I will be getting my chemo port put in. Not really looking forward to that, but it has to be done.

Thank you all for praying and I still covet your prayers. I know God is in control and directing our steps. I am so happy to know my friends are praying for me.
