This is so challenging, again, and I am so sorry that you all, especially Nickie must go through this again. I, along with hundreds of other prayer warriors are routing for her. Your sense of humor, and Nickie's strong faith, will, hopefully, aid in finding relief from the pain and remission from cancer. I pray you all may find some peace. Nickie, John & family, I'm so happy you made the trip to New York. It would always have been a wonder, what if , if you hadn't gone. You are all going through a horrific time in your lives. We don't know what God has planned for any of us & why. We just have to trust & pray. Oh, Nickie,there is nothing I can say that is going to make you feel better but I had to write to let you know that you are constantly on my mind and in my heart and in my prayers. You know that we are all sorry that you have to go through this and sorry that you have to feel so horrible but you already know that. All of your friends, neighbors, family and pets don't want you to suffer and want the best for you! So I have two pictures in my mind; the one where you are wearing the funky colored baseball cap and making a grand facial expression (that is the picture I have in mind each time you have to get more chemo) and the second picture is the one of you and John outside of your hotel hugging each other and laughing (that is the picture I have of the two of you together with all of your prayer warriors, friends, neighbors etc. as we celebrate your being set free of this terrible thing called "cancer"). Thank you for sharing so much of your walk and allowing us to know how we can pray for you along the way and praise the Lord for giving you and John some special days together.
