I found a folder of Nick's on which he'd written not just his name, but "I am awesome". He was right; he certainly was awesome, and that folder hangs on my classroom wall now and always. He touched my heart deeply. Having lost a son myself, I know that pain of loss never leaves, but I do hope that you all reach a point where there is peace and more happy memories than sad ones.
