Hi, Folks! I’m home sweet home now. I’ve been here almost a week. I am being nursed round the clock by Ben, Adrie, Ofelia and Angel. I’m still on a soft bland diet so as you can guess the pounds are peeling off. Probably lost about 25 lbs overall since surgery on 9/8. I’m working to get my appetite and strength back. I walk about 3 to 4 houses either way to get my exercise in each day.
Last week at my post-op appointment my doc said everything is looking good. I can add more to my diet each week as it’s tolerated but had a minor setback on Wednesday last week. Fast favorites are cream of wheat, strawberry and blueberry protein smoothies, applesauce and organic tomato soup. Luckily I am looking forward to more food choices but am not really “craving” or wanting anything specific yet. I am watching Crime Shows and Hallmark movies to my hearts content. I am reading a book on Hope which I certainly now can be an expert on.
I am so blessed and grateful to you all for your prayers, positive thoughts and well wishes because I know God heard every one and I felt the results of it.
