Words fail me as I grief with you, Mim, and your family over the death of your DEAR husband, father, and grandfather!!! I know that I know that God will and is walking alongside of all of you and should the days come that you just feel like you can't take one more step, HE WILL CARRY YOU!!! Many years ago, in the midst of my own deep trials, you, dear Mim gave me a little card that I treasured in my Bible for years and read hundreds of times over: it was a picture of Jesus holding a person in His arms and the scripture was Isaiah 49:15,16 NIV "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I WILL NOT FORGET YOU! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me." And now I give that back to you and trust that you and your precious family will find great comfort in the awareness that GOD WILL NEVER FORGET YOU! HE HAS ENGRAVED ALL OF YOU IN THE PALM OF HIS HANDS! MUCH LOVE TO ALL OF YOU and I WILL BE PRAYING FOR YOU IN THE DAYS, MONTHS, AND YEARS AHEAD! I LOVE YOU DEARLY! Joy
