Today is a BIG day for Nancy and all of us who love her! Today, she makes her final visit to the chemo treatment center! She made it! Her blood markers have shown no indication of cancer since her Whipple surgery in May! She will be screened every three months for the next year.
I'm sorry for not posting an update for so long but I think I saved you from the details of repeated struggles on this roller coaster ride. I can sum up the last 6 months by saying it was hell! But it is over and within the next three weeks, she should start the slow process of feeling normal again.
They say your true personality comes out when you are under trial. She responded to all of this with amazing grace! Thank you to all who have been praying for her and have supplied us with encouraging visits, phone calls and many many meals! To witness God at work and the response of family and friends has been a tremendously uplifting experience!
