Nancy’s Story

Nancy Bause was born April 14,1932 to Dan and Frances Bause.  She was raised in their home above Bauses Drug Store in Boyertown with her siblings Daniel, Carl, Jane, and David. To this day, she is very proud that she worked at the stores lunch counter as a "soda jerk". In 1952 she married my father James Baird Jr. They had 3 children James III ('54) Jeffrey Allen ('56) and Jonathan Russel ('57). After Jim Jr. passed in 2004 she married one of Dad's  best friends John Palmer Osterman. The timeline below, including both highlites and lowlites,  begins approximately 5 years after Johns passing.

3/2/19 Jim received a call from a floor nurse who said an aggressive dimentia patient had walked into her room and started yelling at her. When she yelled back he punched her in the face and she fell bruising the right side of her body
