September 12th marked one month since my beautiful Mama left this earth. 
I miss her every day.  I pick up my phone to call her and share some news and remember I can't.
Reality is still sinking in.  I think it will take a while.  Fifty years of life together...fifty years and nine months really...the tears stream down as I write and think of the amazing being I was lucky enough to call Mom.

I am so grateful for all of you who loved her as well and glad for those who reach out to me.  It helps to feel that little pieces of her are still here in each of you.

Grief will come when it will come.  It is different for each of us.  We must allow the tears to flow, have those painful moments and move through them back into our Joy.  Mom would not want us to sit in sorrow.  Next time you see something beautiful in nature, especially a Cardinal, think of Nancy with a smile and know it just may be her sending you a message.
