For me it is still like a dream, can’t believe just like that she is gone, she was a neighbor like none I have experience, the way she welcomed everyone selflessly is a testament of the Christ in her. She will forever be greatly missed.

I 'SO' enjoyed knowing your sweet mom. She was always cheerful, happy, encouraging, loving, helpful and just a delight to be around! Her love for Jesus and His word inspired me. You are so fortunate to have had such and amazing lady as your mom.

I think of your Mom often and am reminded of all the wonderful times we had together with her here at the ranch...over all the years beginning when you all were young...and so grateful to have had a little time with her on her last visit with Katy in April. I am grateful also to have had 50 years of knowing her. She was a vibrant and vital woman, who loved God with all her heart...and loved her family passionately. She will always be missed...and while I am not sorry for Nancy for she is in the arms of Jesus...I am deeply sorry that we don't have her with us any longer.

Yes, every picture of a red bird makes me think of Nancy. Lots of little things I remember that we did in her back yard, looking at the beautiful flowers, swinging in the cool breeze , seeing Mac chase his ball!! The tears come easily!!

Such a beautiful tribute to your mother. There are things in my house that remind me of her - a cabinet she painted, a bed she slept in., remembering how she had to get all of the pillows just so. My tears stream as well.
