Nancy’s Story

Site created on August 5, 2019

Hi everyone. Nancy has moved.

As her friends know, Nancy had a debilitating stroke about four weeks ago. Following a stay at PowerBack Rehabilitation in Lafayette, she has moved to ManorCare Health Services in Boulder (east side of 28th street, north of Iris). The link following will open a map to the facility. You may need to copy it into the search field in your browser to open it:

The following is from an email from Liz Craig:

"She is in room 510 and has a roommate. The room is a little ghetto, but we’ll work on it! There’s stuff to do here, so hopefully she’ll engage. If you come, you can wheel her outside or around the building, and she can eat and drink treats if we bring them....

Please visit her as it will be a little scary I think. And thanks for everything so far—y’all are the best."

You can send messages via the Well Wishes, or Tributes links above. If you would like to visit Nancy, either just pop in and see what is happening, or select the Ways to Help link, above, then open the planner. You can set up a visit by scheduling it like a task. Type in your name, identify it as a "visit" from the drop down, then specify the time and then select "create" or it won't save.  All that is not truly necessary but it will help keep things organized for planning purposes.
