Journal entry by Nancy Asselin

Hello Friends

I am happy to say that I am now considered a survivor of cancer. I had my last treatment on July 10 and this week at a Petscan that was clear.  Now I will have to complete a maintenance program of going to get a drug every two months for two years. It sounds like a lot but if it prevents a recurrence of lymphoma it will be well worth it. I now have to get back to exercising to ward off the Parkinson getting worse. I have missed Peddling for Parkinson's at the YMCA.  It is a spinning class that has a great group of people that participate in it.

I want to thank all those who helped and prayed for me during this time. My children, sisters and friends on the Cape gave me the support I needed to get through this dreadful sickness  Thank you to everyone who sent cards, gifts, and emails It was great to get the encouragement I needed.

Hope everyone has a great rest of summer.

Love

Nancy
