After completing recurrence chemo, I can anticipate recurrences coming closer together. I had to stop the clinical trial of Zejula with Avastin….but I truly believe it gave me a beautiful 2 more years! I’m blessed! I feel that special warmth in my soul & I know it’s the Holy Spirit being fed lots of prayers & good thoughts!
I’ve not been in fear or scared but I know I’ve recurred twice & my CA125 is jumping round, I’m scared. After 2 recurrences of Ovarian Cancer you are standing at the crossroads. I need to make some decisions. I BELIEVE in clinical trials for several reasons it’s access (free) to the latest, most promising new treatments & to insure that ladies suffering from this dreadful disease can have unfettered access. I’m working with a Trial Navigator to try & match me with a trial. Just waiting for medical records to be sent. Playing the wait & see game!
