Ame’s Story

Site created on September 5, 2022

Welcome! I hope my observations will help other patients and their medical teams. I developed CLIPPERS syndrome in February of 2022. I was hospitalized and treated with a Salumedrol pulse (IV) , high-dose Prednisone (tablets) and Rituxan (IV). So far so good!

Journal entry by Ame Stanko

Today, 8 months after going down the rabbit hole of CLIPPERS, I'm taking my last Prednisone tablet (just 5 mgs). For the past 10 weeks I've been tapering down and so far so good - no new symptoms. I'll write more about the tapering schedule in an upcoming post.
