Better late than never right?
This first entry will be about today. Today I am sitting here wondering if I really want to do this. I am the furthest thing from being a writer. I am more of a talker so video is more my thing, but, I have aged so much in the past 4 years on my journey that I no longer like what I see in the mirror, so I definitely don't want to share it with the world to see. Yes, I know, if you didn't know me, I would look fine!
Today has been 15 days since I finally got the Gamma knife to hopefully stop my regrowth from growing more. It's snowing outside, but thankfully it's not overly cold out! I have a pretty wicked headache today too. It's not my normal headache that I have with the weather changes. It's a slow you right down headache.
Gamma knife? Regrowth? Connie, please explain!! I will, but not today. Tomorrow I will start with the beginning of my Acoustic Neuroma Journey and gradually lead up to today and why my journey has been a struggle, why I am the way I am and why I am pro radiation over surgery for smaller acoustic neuroma's.
Until then, here is a picture of me on October 28, 2019, rocking my "Crown" that I fought so hard to get!
