My son Sam is going into 6th and my daughter Winnie is going into 3rd grade. Whether it was the playground or the library, we crossed paths with Annabelle and Callie over the years. Winnie reminded me that Annabelle was the little girl who shared her Easter candy at the library while they read books. She was the same little girl who gave Winnie a rainbow fidget spinner once she and her sister got new ones at Smith’s. It is clear that Annabelle was a bright, loving and kind little girl who was loved by all who knew her. She will not be forgotten. We are praying for your family. Winnie is here for her friend Callie.

From Martin McCurry:
Every day in 5th grade I saw Annabelle in the lunchroom. Her class was usually in front of mine. Mrs. Carlisle would bring something to eat for lunch called Mush that was in a container with a message. She sometimes shared the message with Annabelle. I remember one message was, “Start even if you don’t know how.” One day Mrs. Carlisle showed the message to Annabelle and they laughed and laughed. I still wonder what the message said to make them laugh so much. Annabelle was so smart that she got things most kids didn’t.
I also remember how much fun Annabelle had during our week at Camp Alpine. She smiled a lot while we were there.

Our families don't know each other, but we have been praying for you daily. Reading the wonderful stories about Annabelle is a testament to how she was raised and how loving your family is. I showed Annabelle's picture to my 8-year old daughter and she said: "She's beautiful and I love her necklace!" It is my deepest hope you feel the multitudes of prayers and the compassion so many people have for y'all. We will continue to hold your family close to our hearts.

I did not know Annabelle, but the second I laid eyes on her precious face, I recognized her from the days I used to take our kids to the library - I would often spot her and sister’s beautiful, angelic faces:)! Someone with curly hair herself, they often caught my eye:) - I always loved how you could tell they belonged to each other:)!!

Praying *forever* for your hearts!! May you always feel her smiling and shining down upon you - and may God’s peace, that passes all understanding, flood your hearts today, tomorrow - and always! xoxo, the agricola family

My daughter Madeline met Annabelle at camp two years ago and they became fast friends. After camp they kept in touch and played games together online. Annabelle even came up to Huntsville to celebrate Madeline’s birthday. She was so poised, sweet, and full of grace. Madeline had so many fun memories of Annabelle. Both of them enjoyed being in the camp theater productions together.
Annabelle will always be remembered for her spark and friendly personality. Our prayers for her family and all who feel this loss.

My daughter, Helen, is in Annabelle’s grade at Crestline. Although they were never in the same class, they had gotten to know each other, especially over the last year. One of Helen’s favorite things about Annabelle was her kindness. She has several friendship bracelets Annabelle made and gave to her “just because”. Another thing that Helen loved about her is how funny she was! They sat together on the bus home from Alpine and Helen said she and Annabelle laughed the whole way home. We are heartbroken at the loss of a such a special, beautiful, brilliant friend. Our love and prayers are with your family. Please know that Annabelle will be greatly missed and forever loved.

“Annabelle was always nice to me and all of our classmates. She was SO smart and always went the extra mile. She was funny, she paid attention and she was helpful when I needed help on my work. Her teachers thought she was so special.” - Hugh Neighbors.

Kathleen and Dodd, I will always smile when thinking about the two of you walking your girls to and from CES morning and afternoon. Annabelle was always poised and had a pep in her step unlike most kids walking to school at 7:25 am. I admired her sense of style and confidence. On any give day I would notice her hair neatly pulled back, a cat-eared headband (my personal fave), glitter on her shoes, a new dangling item clipped on her backpack, or a cute jacket…little touches that reflected confidence and self pride. I also would often notice you holding hands with your girls, something I found so touching and endearing. Your family’s love for each other was apparent to those around you.

I know you two are so proud of Annabelle. Our entire community is proud of Annabelle. Her happiness and zest for life was radiant and she was a light to so many. I believe Annabelle’s spirit will continue to have an impression on many lives young and old. We are heartbroken for you and we are here for you. We pray for peace and comfort today, tomorrow and in the years to come. - Allene and Anderson

Kathleen, Dodd and Callie,
Our hearts absolutely break for you. We love you and are here for you. One of my favorite memories of Annabelle was seeing her joyfully walk to and from school. Chatting about the day with Callie, commonly stopping to pet our puppy. She was always so polite and kind. Annabelle, you will be dearly missed.

We loved having Annabelle come to our house for RISE house church this spring, and she talked about all the things she loved to do with a contagious joy. Tripp has reflected with us on her kindness and intelligence, and was especially amazed with her math skills. Our entire family sends our deepest condolences and lifts Annabelle’s family up in prayer.
