Family and friends, Late on 8/29/2022, a plea came from Jean, " Please pray for Mo. She is in the PICU at Harborview Medical Center on life support." Mozae hung herself and suffered severe brain trauma. The team of doctors taking care of Mozae are not very optimistic. " She has severe brain trauma and swelling. It will take about 48 hours for them to understand the extent of the damage, what areas the damage affects, and whether she will make it". We were updated later in the day, "It's not looking good. She has brain damage from being deprived of oxygen as well as additional damage from the severe edema on the brain. That damage can not be reversed. She is non -responsive to touch, sound, light, or pain." In addition, Mozae's organs were shutting down. Jean and her sister Diane were with Mo until this evening when visitors were no longer allowed. Jean is there with her tonight and Mozae's sister will be joining Jean tomorrow to spend time with them both. The hospital is very strict about visitors. Only one visitor per day is permitted. Jean and Mozae feel the outpouring of love and support from all. This is an unimaginable tragedy. Collectively, our hearts are breaking alongside Jeans. We will continue to update the site. Until then, please join me in showering Mozae and Jean with endless love and prayers.
