I'm sorry it has taken me so long to update you all!
Mike came home on Monday evening from the hospital. After some adjustments to medications, he is back on his feet and had his 2nd chemo treatment on Wednesday. He tolerated it well, and has now been diving in to the resources available for him.
He's still getting some meds straightened out, but we now have a plan, know what to watch for, and feel good about pressing on with treatment.
We would love to accept single serving portions of meals for him that are low sodium. I am attaching a link below with approved recipes so that if you would like to make a meal for him, you can use this resource. Please do not bring food that is not on this list, as his dietary needs are specific, and we know these are safe.
Thanks so much for all your support and prayers! When they say that cancer turns your whole world upside down, you can't even imagine unless you've been through it. He's doing great rolling with the punches though!!!
