Hello and welcome to Monika's Caring Bridge site. We have had an overwhelming response with loved ones wanting to know about and help Monika and Nayeli during Monika's chemotherapy treatments and recovery. This is the best way to answer everyone's questions and inform you as to Monika's prognosis, treatment plans, and where your help is needed.

In February Monika was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has had one surgery already and will follow up with 4 rounds of harsh chemotherapy treatments. Once she has recovered from the treatments, she will have a final surgery.

Monika's first round of chemo was a tough one, her oncologist has explained that each treatment will progressively get worse. On behalf of Monika and her family, we would like to thank everyone who has sent prayers, love, flowers, cards, money, and food. In order to get Monika to the finish line, we are setting up a meal-train, dog walkers, and help around the house.
