Monica’s Story

Educator, author, literary critic, scholar and great friend to many, Monica Edinger suffered a stroke on Monday, July 22, 2019. She had surgery on July 24th and has seen some progress in Mount Sinai hospital and is now currently at the New Jewish Home, Manhattan Campus at 120 West 106 Street, for therapy and recovery.  We need to raise an Army (Monica's Army!) to help Monica overcome tremendous odds to regain her intellect and physical health.  Please read the journal entries and see the task planner (https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/monicaedinger/planner) for ways you can help!
