Journal entry by Mona Shoby —
Yesterday I met with the Dr. before my 3rd chemo treatment. We went over side effects, and how I felt after the 2nd treatment.
For the most part I felt good, I had mouth soars and its been hard to eat/chew, It took a little longer for me to not be exhausted and I noticed that I was feeling more emotional right before my next treatment ( like 3 -4 days before)
Dr. Bartz and I decided it would be a good idea for me to try an antidepressant for my anxiety and Folic acid for my mouth soars. I hope to get some relief for the next 2 weeks.
My fourth treatment will be July 16th and the last of the first round with the 2 medicines.
My second round will start July 30th with the single medicine for 4 treatments.
On a personal note: I am so blessed to have every person in my life that I do. Thank you, for making each day so much better and easier with calls, texts and cards.
You are all so beautiful and I love you all! 💕
Until next time…
