Journal entry by Tracey Thompson

3 month follow up with Dr. Moquin was Monday.  A good appointment!  More progress!  Progress is good!  She is now able to take the restrictive, annoying collar off when she is sitting and resting...eating, watching TV, sleeping!  But wewr it when moving about and traveling.
She has been having some shoulder and arm pain, but was reassured that it is all to be expected, normal and means she is healing and working muscles that haven't been worked in a long while!
She still needs to make sure she has the walker...but slowly to try to rely less on it for support and more as a stabilizer.
She will continue to wear the bone stimulator for another 4-5 months.  She has another appointment in January....10 weeks!!!
He did remind Mom...and us ..that this is a LONG process...at least a year maybe more!
That is why we are so thrilled with the progress we see....she is moving forward every day!  Sometime little steps...sometimes bigger!
BUT we are telling this mountain to MOVE and have the faith it will!!
