Dear friends, you are in my thoughts and prayers daily! Let me share a thought with you! Many years ago I faced a serious health problem that had the potential to cause blindness. I was a young mother and the prospect scared me so much! But as people learned about my problem I was amazed at the number of people who expressed their love and concern. A person told me they were lighting a candle for me (and I didn't even know this person! She was a neighbor of my mother!) Some sent me mass cards (I'm not Roman Catholic) while others showed their love in so many different ways. One night as I was returning from taking my daughter for her skating lesson, I felt an overwhelming feeling like I was encircled in a wreath of faces, joyful faces.....but it was more like an inner tube....there to hold me up! By the time I arrived home a peace had overcome my emotions and I knew that whatever I needed to face I would get through it and be okay. I hope you can feel that same "inner tube" keeping you afloat and surrounded by the love and faith of those who have reached out. So here's a virtual "HUG" from the Metriones! Happy Thanksgiving!
