While on a business trip in New Hampshire, Mark was in a car accident the morning of Thursday October 3rd.

His injuries include: one broken hip, which was operated on day-of the accident; one highly fractured hip that will be operated on week of 10/7; a broken rib & cheekbone; and some facial abrasions. For the  foreseeable future MJC will be confined to a bed and eventually he will begin intense physical therapy - location TBD. He is currently at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.

While MJC is in a good deal of pain, he is in pretty high spirits! We know his "half glass full" outlook on life will be of benefit to him during his road to recovery!

Please feel free to send him messages of encouragement via this site! Also, please keep him in your prayers!!

Journal entry by Joanna Crowder

Hello!

Great news came late last night via FaceTime with MJC ... he was told he will be transferred back to NC this upcoming Wednesday via a medical ambulance! He is beyond pumped to be back in the Tarheel state and closer to family & friends, and with his absolutely wonderful girlfriend and their "girls" Sunny & Luna!

So, with that said, if you'd like to send him a card (or singing/dancing gorilla, etc.) please send it to the following address:
380 Clubhouse Dr, Youngsville, NC 27596

Thank you for continuing to follow Mark's recovery journey!
