Thank you for sharing your journey of grief, loss, and healing, Mitch. Thanks be to God for your good health and for the beautiful memories and "imprints" of Sandie that must simultaneously bring you to your knees and lift your spirit. Know that so many of us continue to hold you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

I celebrate your good news, Mitch. The sting of grief remains , but it's important that you and your family remember your beloved, Sandie. We want to remember her, too. Thanks for every story you share and know that they will be heard by compassionate , listening ears.

It is so good to hear that in the midst of your ongoing grief, there are moments of quiet joy., and we give thanks for healing and progress. We think of you often, and Sandie's face and laughter lingers. Many prayers, Mitch.

Having lost my husband of almost 72 years just over three weeks ago, your words truly resonate with me and I love the quote above. The remembering is exquisite pain and overwhelming joy. Thank you, Mitch. I I think of you often and send love your way.

In my humble opinion, dealing with grief is an up and down process and so I would say you are normal in the way you are dealing with it. Dealing with grief is very a personal process, but I will say your family helped me immensely 15 years ago and I will forever be grateful. Just in case you don’t remember details, you spent your summer in Iowa City and officially became Dr Kinsinger. I was recovering from my joint replacement and ended up going back to Orange City with you and Frances. Being with you guys and learning to walk correctly was very therapeutic. Thankful it was precovid as I depended on family and friends more than ever. Wish I was able to return the favor, but your family is forever in my heart and prayers. Love and hugs.

I had a flashback memory on Facebook this week, a note from Sandie where she asked what I was doing now that our kids’ sports seasons were over. We connected on the joy of watching our kids compete and the quiet of the season ending. I’m glad you can hear her still. As always I miss her.

I always appreciate the honest of your posts, Mitch. I am so thankful to hear of your good report at UI but pray that side effects and other discomforts will continue to lessen. I'm glad that you hear Sandie speaking, that you let her continue to love you in this way. Best wishes as you prepare for this unusual school year.
